Expanding Your Dogs (exotic pets) Training Area

Dogs have very short attention spans; your training sessions should be limited to 15 to 20 minutes a couple of times a day. Never attempt to train your dog if either of you cant concentrate completely on the session.
The best time to train a dog is when he is hungry, if he is a very active dog, it may be best to allow him to run a little, and train him when he is a little tired, this does not mean exhaustion!
Stagger his lessons so he doesnt get bored, and refuse to get involved in the trainings sessions. Over a short period of time reduce the number of edible and physical rewards, always give verbal praise, regardless of how long he has been training.
After he has learned his lessons well in a quiet environment, gradually begin adding distractions and repeat the lessons. Once these lessons are completed indoors, move to a quiet location out of doors and repeat the lessons.
Again, gradually increase the distractions as he shows success at the same lessons he has learned in each of the above situations. Now take him to a busy place and train him there, it may seem repetitive to go over the same lessons each time, but he needs to be trained in each situation.
You can not guarantee that every time he needs to follow a command he will be in a quiet indoor place. Refusing to train in other situations is setting your dog up for future failure.
Training sessions should always be ended on a note of success, and with play time. Dont make the mistake of only playing with him when training time is over, he may decide to get the session over with quickly so he can get the play time.
Last but not least, training time is not exercise, or the only exercise your dog should get. He needs time to play with you and other dogs that are not connected to his training times.

If you are looking for a pet whose has the ability to be faithful, has loads of energy and a loving attitude, then you may want to consider getting a boxer dog. Boxer dogs are very friendly and loyal especially to and with children. Their playful nature makes them a wonderful companion for younger children. If you have other animal family members, boxers are very adaptable to these pets too. Should you want a pet that will listen to your orders and can be taught, you should get a boxer dog. Remember that these dogs need all kinds stimulus, both mentally and physically. Take them for a run or jog in the early morning hours when its cooler. This is especially important during the summer months when temperatures soar in the 90s in many places. If you cannot bring your pet inside for any reason, then be sure he/she can stay out of the sun, has plenty of food and water.
Boxer dogs will play regardless of the temperature outside but as the owner of these overactive and roguish canines, it is you that needs to be aware if your pet is getting overheated. Boxers cannot maintain the temperature in their body. Those hot summer days will find you giving extra special attention to your loving canine. Your pet may cool down slightly through his intense panting but it is not enough to keep them cool the entire day. Do not be surprised if your boxer dog doesnt feel like playing. Just like you, dogs can get zapped of energy in the heat. Do your dog justice and place plenty of water bowls outside for him to drink from. If you have only one water bowl, be sure its kept full.
There are other ways to help your dog survive the summer heat. Local pets stores have dog mats that can help you out. When you are nourishing the inside of your dogs body, be sure to give him a nice nourishing on the outside. Rinse down sensitive parts of your dogs body including the ears, eyes, mouth, belly and paws. If you can, purchase an outside tub for him to jump in and out of. Another easy way to keep your dog from overheating is to provide him with the needed food diet that can help him fight the burning sun.

With everything they do for their owners, they are especially known for their strength, courage, attentiveness and legerdemain. The right fish for the environment you will be able to create in the easiest possible way. If this is your first aquarium then you have to make a decision between fresh or salt water environments. In general fresh water aquariums are in general easier to manage. Once you find the particular kind of fish you like and you would like to create habitats for then you should also look into their temperaments. In other words will the kinds you like be compatible with each other is a question you need to ask your self before you select the kinds of fish for your aquarium. For example you cant place piranhas with other fish in the same aquarium it would be a bad move. After you select the fish then you should decide what kind of aquarium or fish tank you will need. If the fish you like are or can grow big then you must pick a bigger aquarium. Purchase the other parts accordingly; your filters for example should depend on how big your aquarium is. The next thing you should keep in mind is picking the right location for you aquarium. You want to keep your aquarium away from direct sunlight, away from air conditioning and heating vents but in a prominent enough place where you can see and enjoy your work. A steady temperature in your aquarium also means that algae growth will be controlled for most of the part. One more thing you need to be aware of when you are starting an aquarium is to decide how many fish you are going to place in the tank. The general rule is that one fish per gallon. But at the same time some fish are bigger than others and need more space. Therefore, you should consider that for every inch of fish you will need on gallon. In other words, if the fish you want grow to become one inch each then you can place 30 of them in a 30 gallon aquarium. Dont make this calculation based on the size of the fish when you purchase them but based on the size they reach when they are fully grown. If this is your first aquarium you should start relatively small. If you are going to work with a fresh water aquarium you should start with an aquarium that is not bigger than 30 gallons and if you are going to go with a saltwater set up dont go bigger than 70 gallons. Keep in mind that the bigger the aquarium the better the environment will be. More water means that the temperature can stabilize faster and destabilize harder. If this is your first aquarium then get kit that includes the right filters and pumps. Equipment that has been selected for the tank you are buying.
